Installation of vinyl sheeting, semi loose lay carpet tiles and block out motorised roller blinds.
About this Project
After carpets were removed the substrate was grinned clean with a diamond grinder to remove all adhesive and imperfections in the substrate, a layer of ITE bondite was applied onto the now clean, raw substrate to ensure a sound bond between substrate and new screed.
A 3mm layer ITE F30 (25MPA) screed was applied onto the bonded substrate to provide a 100% smooth screed to adhere vinyls to. Polyflor XL PU grey vinyl sheeting with welded joints was installed. The newly laid sheeting was then stripped clean and sealed with 3 coats industrial sealers to protect the new vinyl sheeting.
Existing carpeting was removed and then Van Dyck Aniseed semi looselay enduro backed carpet tiles were adhered to the existing substrate with Qualichem’s PSA126 pressure sensitive adhesive.
Existing aluminium Venetian blinds were removed and replaced by motorised block out roller blinds. Somfy Sonesse Ultra 50 motors and Somfy’s 4 and 16 Telis RTS remotes were supplied to operate the motorised part of the roller blinds.
